Targeted activities, also known as focused skill activities, is the fourth step in the literacy-based therapy framework.

During this phase the clinician and students engage in a variety of language rich activities using the story for context. You can target almost any skill or goal with a good book!

 

Activities focus on skills in the following areas: semantics, syntax & grammar, narratives, pragmatics.
